What’s Happening on the Farm
There’s always something to explore depending on the season. From planting through harvest, our fields are busy with activity, and you’re welcome to see it in action.
Produce Galore!
We grow a wide variety of vegetables, with rows full of sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes, fresh lettuces, zucchini, cucumbers, and many other favorites. Our produce stand offers what’s in peak condition that day, picked fresh and priced fairly.
We also carry our own local raw honey and seasonal hay bales. No matter what tickles your fancy, you can count on 100% fresh produce farmed only via sustainable practices.
Lawndale Farm Events
Families and weekend explorers often plan their visit to Lawndale Farm around the calendar of Lawndale Farm events. In the fall, our pumpkin displays and photo-ready backdrops draw plenty of guests.
Throughout the growing season, we host farm field trips and educational experiences for schools and youth programs. Kids learn how vegetables grow, get hands-on with soil and seeds, and leave with a new appreciation for where food comes from.
We also post upcoming events, so stay glued to our Lawndale Farm events calendar.
Host Your Own Event!
Are you interested in hosting something a little bigger? We also rent our space out for small weddings, birthday parties, and community gatherings. The quiet landscape, rustic structures, and open air make for a memorable setting.
Whether it’s a birthday party or a wedding, our farm gives your celebration the natural and scenic backdrop it deserves.
Farm Visit Tips: What To Bring and Expect
We want your visit to feel comfortable and relaxed, especially if you’re coming with children or a group. These farm visit tips can help you prepare:
Dress for the weather: Our fields are wide open, so we recommend sun hats, closed-toed shoes, and layers if the forecast changes.
Bring a tote or basket: If you plan to shop for produce, you’ll appreciate having your own reusable bag, though we do have boxes and bags available.
Come with questions: We love talking about what we grow, how we grow it, and what’s freshest that week.
Be ready to unplug: While you’ll get decent phone service, we hope you’ll take time to slow down, look around, and enjoy being outdoors.
Ask about what’s in season: Crop availability changes week by week. We’ll help you pick the best of what’s ready.
Our parking area is gravel and grass, so strollers and wheelchairs may require a bit of maneuvering. If you have accessibility concerns, give us a call.
We’ll do everything we can to make your time here enjoyable.
Let’s Make It a Tradition
Every time you visit Lawndale Farm, you support more than just one harvest. You help preserve local farmland, encourage responsible growing practices, and strengthen our ties with the surrounding community. We believe fresh food tastes better when it’s grown close to home, and we’re honored to share that experience with you.
Whether you’re planning a one-time trip or starting a family tradition, we look forward to seeing you at the farm.
