About Lawndale Farm
Lawndale Farm is conveniently located right on RT 3A, just minutes from the highway. Our farm stand is open from mid July through Christmas, but honey, hay, and straw bales are available all year round. Please come and visit us. We look forward to seeing you!
We manage our farm using sustainable agricultural practices that help protect our natural resources and preserve open spaces.
In the Fall: We provide pick your own tomatoes and pumpkins, hayrides, and a cornfield treasure hunt.
During the Holiday Season: We have wreaths, garland and fresh cut Christmas trees with hundreds to choose from.
History
Back in 1921 Kenneth Times Sr. and his mother Dorothy bought Lawndale Farm. Ninety years and five generations later the farm is still owned and operated the Times Family.
Originally the farm was primarily a dairy operation, milking as many as 50 cows and only growing about 5 acres of vegetables. Today we grow over 30 acres of fresh vegetables, sell honey from our own hives, and still have a pet cow named Sloppy. We also raise 25 acres of quality hay and straw bales.
